Akstafa rugs, especially from this time period, are incredibly unique in their color palettes. They display a more ‘pastel’ palette than other areas of the Caucuses. The most common Akstafa motif is one displaying peacocks, so to find a prayer rug with an all-over boteh motif really is quite unique.
