Most likely a Karaja or Georovan, is this highly decorative runner from Northwest Persia. Very much in the more ‘wonky’ vein of drawing, which has become more and more attractive as indicative of a village weave. Little needs to be said as the rug very much speaks for itself in it’s clumsy, if not charming design.
