OVERVIEW:
I’ve been told and have repeated myself that of all the types of rugs out there, Bidjars tend to age the best. The foundation exposure and pile loss that they inevitably encounter always seems to complement the colors they display and the rugged nature that especially the so-called Kurd Bidjars reflect.
I am always impressed with the ability of these rugs to get such a wide range of colors as well. The standout to me is the green found within the minor and main borders; a sort of lime that is unlike most shades of green I’ve seen (which are also few and far between in this volume).
