OVERVIEW:
A more formal Senneh done in an interesting format, despite having been shortened sometime in the past, it may have been a large Mafrash panel, which makes it a bit of a curiosity. An intricately drawn field of boteh with flanking florals and botanicals nested within each of the large paisleys. Much variation to the boteh and the dense drawing surrounding them speaks to the talent of the weaver who was able to achieve this on something that was ostensibly for storage purposes.
