Hamadan Mat - 2'5" x 3'1"

$245.00

#2560
2’-5” x 3’-1”

AGE & ORIGIN:
1st Q. 20th C.
Persia

OVERVIEW:
An adorable and incredibly well-preserved Hamadan mat. A testament to why these rugs should receive the respect they do not get. The main medallion and spandrels are punctuated well by the use of a potentially natural red, also used on the Herati pattern across the deep navy field. A fine drawing and original fringe on one end with little to no wear are truly remarkable on a rug that would normally be beat to shreds.

CONDITION:
Excellent, overcasted on one side
