OVERVIEW:
Turkish prayer rugs, in terms of design, tend to be quite stunning in their usage of colors and motifs. For example, on this rug, the use of two blanketed color, apricot and ruby, separating the field from the mihrab. The borders of this rug are also exquisite, with no main border existing in lieu of 5 small guard borders with excellent balance in the vine motifs, allowing the drawing to even turn some of the corners without interruption.
