OVERVIEW:
The deployment of Turkoman guls across Baluch rugs itself is not overly rare, nor surprising given the proximity of the two groups and their tendency to intermingle (by choice or by force). To see something approximating a Chuval gul is not uncommon. To see something approximating a Kepse gul is more uncommon. However, the two being used in conjunction with each other is not only surprising, but rare.
There are two different reds being used as well, which adds an attention to detail often see in older pieces. The lighter red of the border, and the darker, (chestnut?) red of the field. In fact, the nuttier red of the field is something that you might indeed see on some Turkoman pieces. In fact, for a Baluch, there is a wide range of color, with at least three different blues being used as well.

Low pile, two small holes and some edge wear
