OVERVIEW:
The natural colors of this Heriz reflect the goal of a rug of this size; essentially to replace the floor beneath our feet. What better colors could you ask for to accomplish such a task?
The typical primary reds of any given Heriz have been replaced with a softer terracotta. The accents also lean lighter with Cream, a soft Gold and muted Greens, all of which are highlighted by a charming Robins-egg blue.
An assortment of natural dyes help to achieve this softer palette of colors and make this larger 1930s Heriz a gentle giant.
CONDITION:
Moth damage mostly limited to back of the rug with small affected areas on the front (see pictures for extent).
