The ‘Tauk Nuska’ gul design, as seen on this rug through the ‘H’ shaped zoomorphic shapes is a common Ersari and Yomut Turkmen tribe feature. It may represent horned animals, although often it’s seen in a more devolved form without snout or horns leaving more of a simple ‘H’.
