Boteh Hamadan Rug - 4’1” x 6’5”

$295.00

#2537 Hamadan Rug
4’-1” x 6’-5”

AGE & ORIGIN:
2nd Q. 20th C.
Persia

OVERVIEW:
As with most Hamadans made for export, this takes borrowed desgns to create something that would appeal to American tastes. The large field shape is something that might be seen in south Persia, but the corners show a mixed Herati pattern, and of course, the all-over boteh field is something that could be seen nearly anywhere.

CONDITION:
Some foundation exposure and wear
