OVERVIEW:
A playful rug with Kurdish and Caucasian influence, including the Harshang or ‘crab’ borders and the highly geometric boteh on the field. Flecks of old fuchsine can be found on parts of the boteh giving us a clue to the age.
Excellent for hard-to-cater-to square areas of the home such as stair landings or small bedrooms.
CONDITION:
Worn. We have taken the time to even out and cross-stich one of the ends that was experiencing loss as well as stich a slit that was in the side of the rug, see photos for details
