Notes:

A very good example of why Malayer is usually distinguished more by its dyes when trying to compare to a general Hamadan. I used to think Malayer was thought of more as a ‘tighter’ weave, and while that can be true, I’ve since learned there are certain colors/dyes present in Malayer rugs that we really just don’t ever see in Hamadan.
