Notes:

A big beautiful Bidjar with features I loved including the way the central medallion was drawn, which when looked at closely, is a little cruder than expected, which is really only the signature of the Kurds shining through. It’s got a design that sort of looks like old Tabriz rugs with their ‘book cover’ look. Highly detailed Herati and really great spandrels. I loved this huge heavy rug. It was formal, but with touches of the village.
